Ciao! October has arrived and “Fall” is in the air!!!
I want to thank all our members who attended our business meetng tonight. It is always so nice to see everyone and to have some to socialize and enjoy our Spuntno! A big “thank you” to the Men’s Club, for always including us to a nice “light super” before our meetng. 😊
Our 3rd Annual Italian Festa, was on Sunday, September 6th. The atendance was wonderful. Along with our members and their families, we enjoyed meeting a lot of our neighbors who saw our advertising or just passing the club and seeing the acUvity going on. The booths were busy, group photos at the photo booth, face paintng, cake walk, children’s corner, we had some new booths this year that did very well. The food court was always busy. Beverages and wine tasting to go along with your pasta, Italian sandwich or pizza, the cookie booth with all those delicious cookies baked and donated by our members. The bocci court was very acUve with adults and children. I hope you were able to be there, if not, you missed a great time at the club.
September 16, 2025, was our August-September Birthday dinner chaired by member Dianna Willyard and her family. Fresh homemade pasta was made at the club by her team. We all enjoyed the pesto pasta, followed by roasted chicken, roast potatoes, and broccoli. Dianna made her delicious Tiramisu for dessert. Thank you to our set-up, wait staff, cooks, raffle helpers and ticket/reservation ladies, and our bartenders, for helping to make this a wonderful evening. Thank you to our members who brought the lovely gifts for our drawing. They are always appreciated!!
The Italian Heritage Parade will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025. This a great family day to come out, watch the parade and see the Blue Angels fly overhead. This is also, Fleet week. Don’t miss out on all the fun, food, activities and most of all let’s honor our Italian heritage!!
Sunday October 19, 2025, the Fratellanza Club is hosting the 2025-2026 Queen Coronation Banquet. You and your family are invited to come and support our Queen Guiliana Sorbi (granddaughter of members Lee & Adriana Matteucci & daughter of Juli Sorbi) and her court Luciana Bagneschi, Emily Stenzler & ValenUna Grazzini. Let’s all come and celebrate this very special event. The bulletin has all the informaion and how to make your reservations!
On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, bring your family and friends for a delicious Polenta Dinner. Contact our chairperson Alyssa James if you can help with set-up or wait staff, it would be appreciated. See the bulletin for informaUon and make your reservations early. Drawing prizes are appreciated!! Remember, Men are always welcomed to our dinners!!
