Our meeting tonight was well attended; we had a total of 54 members at our meeting. It is always nice to see everyone and have time to visit and catch up. We all enjoyed a light dinner (Spuntino) provided by the Men’s Club. Thank you gentlemen for always including us. A BIG thank you to our refreshment hostesses, Laurie Cullen and Linda Granko for all the delicious homemade treats!!! They were enjoyed by all!
On Tuesday May 19, 2026, we celebrated April/May Birthdays and Mother’s Day. The dining room was decorated for the occasion, and as always, it looked great!! We served 163 dinners and everyone enjoyed the menu of salad, gnocchi, pork roast, potatoes and green beans and a yummy dessert. Best of all, so that all our ladies could sit and enjoy their dinner, our servers were all volunteers from the Men’s Club. Thanks guys!!!
Also, thanks go out to our cooks, bartenders and dishwasher. Great job!!
**A “Complimentary Birthday Dinner Certificate”was mailed to the eligible members that attended the dinner. Please use at one of our next three ”2026” Birthday dinners, July, September or November. Thank you!
Friday May 29, 2026, was the IAF Scholarship Awards Dinner which was hosted by the Fratellanza Men’s Club. It was a wonderful evening. All the recipients were happy and excited to receive their awards from IAF President, Lisa Mittone. Parents and grandparents and other family members were there to support them and to enjoy the festivities. The dinner was wonderful and everyone enjoyed the dancing after the program. Congratulations to all and enjoy your time at college.
On Sunday May 31, 2026, was the Fratellanza Women’s and Men’s Club “2026” Scholarship Award luncheon. The Women’s Club Awarded: Matthew Angerman, Campbell Cerruti-Riehn, Johanna Dickert, Olivia Meidberg, Cassidy Smith, and Bennett Giaramita. The Men’s Club Awarded: Bennett Giaramita, Cassidy Smith, Gianna Miller, Chloe Hoyer, and Anthony Celio. What a wonderful day for Parents, Grandparents and all the family members in attendance to watch these young adults accept their awards and to follow their way to their future. Congratulations! This is a great time of life, make us all proud! Thank you to the scholarship committee for their time and efforts to make this wonderful event such a success. Also, to set-up, cooks, servers and bartenders. The drawing gifts were all appreciated “thank you” to those who donated to the event.

Election time is coming for the Fratellanza Women’s Club. Our nominating committee was presented at our meeting tonight, they are Claudia Albano, Linda Granko and Mary Ghidella. This committee will make phone calls to all our members who qualify to run for the positions of Officer, Board of Directors, Sentinel or Trustee. When you are called upon, we hope that you will consider joining the Officers, Board of Directors and Trustees of our current team to continue to make our club a fun place to come and share good times and good food. Most of all, to keep our Italian heritage and culture going strong & our membership growing!!
