Grazie mille for all of you who came to our first meeting of 2025. We had a full group of members who we hope will continue to come to our monthly meetings and be active members of our club.
January starts our club with two active events that I hope will be fun for you to experience. First, our Birthday Dinner is on Tuesday, January 21. Arlene Howell and Joanne Greco are chairing this event and hope you will be able to help with set up and/or serve. Please call one of them to let them know you want to help: Arlene Howell and Joanne Greco.
The Men’s Club has their 93rd Anniversary on Saturday, January 25. Tradition has it that the Women’s Club decorates, sets up, and serves for them, and they serve for us at our 80th Anniversary on Saturday, March 22. Please call Rozz CantisanI at to let her know how you will help with the Men’s Anniversary, and if you can help set up for our Anniversary on Friday, March 21.
Our March Birthday Dinner is cancelled because it is just before our Anniversary Dinner. The February, March, April, and May bambinos will be honored at our May 20 Birthday Dinner.
In March, we have our bi-annual Polenta Dinner. The date is February 18 and we will need Chairladies for this event. Again, the menu is set and the cook in place. We need the Chairladies to find a set up committee and servers. This evening will be further discussed at our February meeting.
Our past events have been great successes. Members who helped with our Member’s Christmas Dinner, Children’s activities during the Christmas Brunch, decorating our Winter Wonderland, helping and attending our New Year’s Eve Dinner Dance, and taking down our Winter Wonderland deserve a grand MILLE GRAZIE for all their help. Thank you for being there when we needed you. It makes for fun club activities and socialization.
