The September meeting with a great number of members in attendance produced much needed results. The Nominating Committee – Patty Pistello, Joan Bozzone, and Nancy Ingram, provided a report of their efforts to secure candidates for the open positions in 2025. We will have a President! Rozz Cantisani has accepted the nomination for the office and will be on the ballot of candidates at our October meeting, This is great news for our club and the leadership group of the Fratellanza Women’s Social Club.
We also received reports form the successful events the Ladies’ Club hosted last month – The Women’s Tea, the Women’s July Birthday Dinner, and the IAF Fundraiser. So much fun (and profit) for our club members and for the IAF. The Tea was amazing; apparently there is no limit to the decorating skill and talent of our members. And a big Thank You to the all the members – Women and Men – who volunteered to supply the goodies for the tea and their talent as servers, and of course the lovely Raffle gifts donated by our members.
Please review the list of upcoming events attached to the newsletter and remember, coming to these events provides much needed support for both the Women’s and the Men’s clubs.
Summer is coming to an end. The kids are back to school and Fall will soon be here. Enjoy the good weather while you can!
